The vertical turn-grind centers of the INDEX V series are suitable optimally for the machining of nozzle bodies, components for diesel injection technology, HSK tool interfaces, hydraulic components requiring high-quality surface finish and wherever serrations have to be ground.

– O. D. grinding spindle units: directly driven INDEX motor grinding spindles for maximum rigidity and precision trough largesized precision antifriction bearings
– I.D. grinding spindle units: High-performance servodriven antifriction bearing spindles
– conventional as well as CBN tools can be used
– dressing cycles, wheel contact detection and grinding wheel balancing are fully automated
– automatic workpiece handling through pickup by the motor spindle as the active handling unit
– In-process measuring system
