The horizontal turn-grind centers of the INDEX G series are especially suited for the grinding of shaft-type workpieces. The optional automation possibilities reduce the workpiece changing time and the manual interventions.

– O.D. grinding the whole workpiece length is more economic than preturning and finish grinding
– highest rigidity and precison
– grinding with motor milling spindle or multi functional unit is possible
– dressing cycles, wheel contact detection and grinding wheel balancing are fully automated
– Automatic workpiece loading and unloading with workpiece handling unit INDEX WHU/WHW
